Anyway, I think proboards (the service that makes this forum possible) has a default censored word list and you found one of the "no-no" terms. That really shouldn't be on there, what if we wanted to discuss the vice president? Anywho, I've been listening to Nouvelle Vague quite a bit lately too. Which brings me to my previous rotation post. I mentioned Camille (album = Le Fil). If you're into Nouvelle Vague, you should check her out, she's the one who sang "Guns of Brixton", "Too Drunk To F**k", and "Making Plans for Nigel" on that record.

Lots of good music you people listen to.
Let's see, not necessarily my favorite stuff, but as of right now the stuff I'm playing most, be it new or dear to me ..
Love is All - Nine Times the Same Song Art Brut - Bang, Bang, Rock and Roll The Autumns - Le Carillon Tristeza - lots of stuff because I just bought three albums, but Spine and Sensory remastered mostly Sigur Ros - Takk Devendra Banhart - Cripple Crow Animal Collective - Feels Calexico - Feast of Wire
I'm not a very productive person so I spend a lot of time listening to music, but I won't list everything, maybe more later.
edit: I forgot ... Michael Bolton - Everybody's Crazy ... it's a 33 and if you play it at 45 speed it becomes the music of angels.
(does anyone know if thats bad for the needle? I couldn't care less about the actual vinyl.)

Been on a bit of a trip-hop binge the last week or so. Couple of groups to check out: Edison Gem www.myspace.com/orionjadisRor-Shak myspace.com/r0rshaksmoothe grooves and awesome female-fronted vocals for both groups. Check em out! ... also picked up Film School's self-titled LP .... it's kinda shoegazer-y in a Cure-meets-Ride sort of way.

I'm sensing the chiricoesque inevitability that no one listens to Suede anymore.

In honor of today being St. Patrick's Day, I've added 'Pure Irish' to my rotation. I bought it because it was cheap, and I thought it might be fun, but it makes me want to get drunk in a bad non-Irish way.
Anyone know of some better music to represent the Emerald Isle in a less folk music meets elevator music light?
I've been listening to The Divine Comedy for lack of anything more traditional.
