I'm really liking these new albums right now:
Björk - Volta CocoRosie - The Adventures of Ghosthorse and Stillborn Feist - The Reminder

Try as I might, I never could seem to "get" Bjork. Mimsy, any suggestions on where to start?
I'm into more traditional fare these days... the new Editors record is a great leap forward for them (and hopefully critics & bloggers can now review their music without mentioning the words "Ian" and "Curtis"). The latest Bloc Party and Arcade Fire CD's are still finding their way into the car, and after a painstaking process, I finally have a CD of the Autumns' KXLU session (with breaks for each of the individual songs, thank God) which has become a favorite.
Cheers,
edge

Try as I might, I never could seem to "get" Bjork. Mimsy, any suggestions on where to start? It really depends... hmmm... start with Homogenic. There are a lot of beautiful songs that are easy to sing along with and it doesn't delve into the hyper-experimentalism that albums like Medulla do.
