yes...i totally agree that waiting is what The Autumns are about....ive had to wait for everything...i waited for the 'every sunday sky' single....then months and months later i finally found the s-t album, after waiting for it to appear in Britain for ages....and then, after i had ordered all the other albums, i had to wait for a coupla months for that - stupid postal system...and now of course im waiting for the new album....and ive probs gotta wait FOREVER to see them live...but im prepared to wait...it is The Autumns after all...........doesnt mean i wont complain bout it tho!!!!
also, just wanted to say thanks to nocturnes...ur support was much appreciated...and yes, the Autumns did cheer me up after i listened to them....although it didnt spur me on to do any work....but my exams are now over....yippie..........
hmmm....how many times have i said 'wait' in this post (!) yikes!!!

They toured the UK with The Dears in Feb. 2005 after s/t was released, I don't know if you caught them then... but I'm sure they'll be back. The Autumns is (are?) well supported by Bella Union in your global position, so perhaps the waiting will not be quite so bad this time round. Congratulations on finals being over! I'm sure you are much relieved.

i saw that they had toured with the Dears...thanks to the pics from Mr Elkins' galleries...but at the time i didnt realise that they were touring here...much to my great disappointment....i always get annoyed when i realise that i have missed out on something right after it happened...
ive decided not to get my hopes up about waiting for them to come over here anytime soon - i know that i will just be sorely disappointed...perhaps its time for me to start saving up to fly out to California to see them...although by the time i had done so they would probably have toured in England anyway...it be very expensive...'specially for a poor student like moi...
although im sure the guys arent gonna want to be touring as much...now that they have more commitments and stuff going on in their lives...suppose that's just how it goes tho!!!
...(and im very, very relieved...phew!!!)...

define "soon."
I suspect not much will happen until the album is actually released, but I'm sure they'll want to tour with this one.

when i said soon...i didnt really mean soon as in 'soon' soon...i know that they wont tour until after the album has come out...but i was saying it in the sense that...they're more likely to do an American tour first...with maybe some European dates after...so it probably wont be in the next year or so....which makes me sad....

don't be so sure about us touring the states first. it's actually pretty likely that we'll do our touring there first as Bella Union is already gearing up for our release in the UK. in other interesting news, we are talking with labels in both Japan and Taiwan about distributing our back catalog and releasing the new album. plus, touring the states is difficult as there are many parts of the country that steve can not go because of certain altercations and past infractions.

ooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...yay....this news excites me very much...very much...it makes me thankful that ur on a label like Bella Union...now i have something to look forward to...yipeee....got to make sure that i have enough money....wow....this is really good news...i think im getting a bit too excited tho...seeing as it wont be for a while...but i cant help myself... i also saw that Frankie had left a message on someone's myspace saying that the single will be out sept 24th in the uk (a bit more precise than dustin's 'september')...so im doubly excited... ...and new b-sides...this is sooo great...i cant wait...im gonna be counting down the days from now methinks...hmmm...excitement overload....too much sugar............
i also never realised that Steve led such a controversial and intriguing life...he seems like a very interesting character...i like his video on youtube where he gets moved on by the national guard...just for playing some music...

i bet it will be at least $30 or more US. Boo on you Dubya. And yes, i know Dubya isn't entirely at fault for our weak valued dollar, but he's so much fun to blame for everything that is wrong with this country.
Did i just get political?! That's not a good sign...

I'll never let happen again.
And my earlier comment about it being $30 or so US dollars, was a bit of an overstatement. Since 'boys' is a single, it will most likely be in the $15 range. I think that is about what I paid to have 'every sunday sky' shipped to me. Not great, but not that bad either.

Yeah, that's what I figure.... I wonder if they're planning on releasing b-sides to iTunes or some other "international" service as well. I guess we shall wait and see.
