Dear fellow travelers, We have two news items for you. 1––MTV's Subterranean will be re-airing our video for "Boys" on Saturday, July 19. Subterranean begins at 11 PM on MTV2. Mark your calendars, set your Tivos, kindly rearrange all your social engagements. Whichever suits you. You might also drop Subterranean a line if you would like to see the video again. 2––One thing we have learned after many years is that Autumns fans are often musicians, especially guitarists. We regard this as a badge of honor. For the guitarists among you who have wondered as to the myriad nuts and bolts of Autumns songs, kindly view our lengthy, detailed tutorials at the wonderfully useful new website, Now Play It. Thank you! The Autumns

I saw it, just before Headbanger's Ball. (yikes) I don't think I've watched Headbanger's Ball since the early 90s.
I feared for my life.

any body ever choke up the cash for those 'now play it' lessons?
any reviews whatsoever?
and a question because i can't tell from the previews .. when y'all (autumns dudes) run through the song in full do you sing or is it just instrumental? 'cause that would be cool to get a little mtv unplugged performance with singing and all that. they look cool anyway, just wondering.

Yeah, i bought them - they're pretty good. Matthew, Frankie and Madison go through their guitar parts on 4 songs and then they do an acoustic performance with Matthew singing, which is of course very special indeed! I would say that they are worth it - the videos last for about 30-40 mins ( I think, it's been a while since I watched them), although not all of it is The Autumns' talking about the songs. If you want something a bit different then you should check them out, especially if you play guitar!
As for your question about B-sides, well, aside from Joy on the 'Boys' single, a Killer In Drag EP was released that featured 3 remixs of the track, which are pretty good considering I don't normally enjoy remixes. I think you can find a link on one of my posts from a while ago - titled Killer In Drag I believe. There was also a special edition of the album released in Japan, although that only featured one previously unreleased track, a cover of Xiu Xiu's 'Hives, Hives' - it was up on the autumns' youtube page I believe. I have not bought this special edition but I think it's pretty hard to get hold of!
By the way, well done on trying to get the board a bit more active, although I doubt it will ever be as good as it used to be due to the lack of Autumns' activity!
